Lisa Cimino

My designs are hand-carved, lathe-turned, and fabricated with various surface treatments such as contrasting oxidization or the decadence of gold overlay, and alternative sources of color, such as crushed gemstones or custom hand-pigmented resins.

I'm inspired by what my eye instinctually focuses on — the natural organic arrangement of lines, textures and colors — the vast life forms on coral reefs, up to a towering yet delicate tree canopy, down to a thick forest bed and right back up to a bird soaring overhead. 

My collections are hand-carved interpretations of nature — land, sea, and sky. My work is informed by everyday observations of endless cycles, of forms and colors, of magnificent beauty in the purest forms.
