Jane Pellicciotto became a second-career jewelry artist following decades in graphic design. Her work takes a cue from the artifacts and detritus of the urban environment with its typographic remnants, and forms and patterns morphed by time, use and the elements. Starting as a metalsmith, her current work consists mostly of polymer clay. The material, she admits, is a bit irresistible.
